Description of Recall: Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2021 Quattroporte, Ghibli, 2021-2022 Levante, and 2022 MC20 vehicles. The fuel line sensor housing may crack and leak fuel.
Conequence: A fuel leak may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak also increases the risk of fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Action Need To Fix It: Dealers will replace the fuel line sensor housing, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 27, 2021. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 442.

Description of Recall: Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2021 Levante, Quattroporte, and Ghibli vehicles. The seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Conequence: An unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
Action Need To Fix It: Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed October 15, 2021. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 434.

The headlights may be misadjusted above the maximum height allowed, possibly impairing other driver's visibility on the roadway. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Conequence: Affecting the visibility of oncoming traffic can increase the risk of a crash.

In temperatures below freezing, the entertainment telematics module (ETM) may place itself in a protection mode, disabling the back-up camera.
Conequence: If the back-up camera is inoperable, it may be more difficult for the operator to see people or objects behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
