From the test drive to signing the final papers, this was by far the best car buying experience I have had. Negotiation was minimal and honest. I think it ended up being, or at least feeling like a win/win. No push on after sales items. The one draw back is Subaru's Share the Love Campaign. I think it is a good idea, but frankly it is misplaced in the middle of the buying process - a time when most car buyers are on guard against an up-sell or other gimmick. So it loses its appeal. Perhaps better to have that as an after sales event, emailed to the person who bought the car.
It was, once again, time to go and trade in our Subaru and Sid was amazing! He made sure we got great trade value for our old cars and got us into an amazing Subaru Outback. He was super nice, as always, and made sure to take amazing care of us. It was low pressure and very quick and easy. Our monthly payment is in budget and we are very happy. Buying a car can be stressful but this dealership takes the stress out. No pressure, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, clean, and really great cars. An absolute contrast to every other experience we had. Start to finish they made it a breeze. I was actually really cranky by the time we got here as it was one of our last stops of the weekend of car shopping, and I'm anxious, OCD, and really really picky. Our sales guy made me feel quite comfortable and spent a lot of time working with us without any pressure just helpfulness and a real pleasant attitude. It is worth the drive even if this isn't the closest dealership you're looking at, as I have also been to others within 30 miles and they don't compare as far as service and staff. All departments we dealt with were really really pleasant and professional. Highly recommend!
When I purchased my 2016 Subaru Forester there was a major problem with the underside of the car. It was rusted and contained evidence of having been in a flood zone somewhere. I did not notice the bottom of the car until about 2 weeks after my purchase. I had difficulty understanding how the car even passed their inspection and was able to be sold. It was a Brand New car! The Manager, Avrom investigated the incident and after a few weeks resolved the problem by taking back the "rusted" car and replaced the car with another brand new 2016 Subaru Forester. I consider him to be a very "stand up guy" who came through with the correct answer. Both he and my salesman, Mounir were very concerned and helpful in resolving my problem. The entire experience which was initally very stressful turned out to be satisfying. The car is great and I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Dan Perkins Subaru and my salesman Mounir.
