Bought a car for what I thought was a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I was wrong. $840 for brakes, rotors and hardware all way around to get Virginia inspection. They said minor fender bender, driver door had been replaced, rear door major straightening done. Left side of car repainted. Wheel bent. One computer system probably broken. Still working on that one. They had put lots of strong air fresheners in car to cover heavy cig smoke smell. Ask lots of questions, and when the answers don't sound right, don't buy because of price or looks of car.

I was looking for a Lexus on line and found What I was looking for at Impex . Ashley was my contact person and had everthing set up when I arrived on Saturday June 11. The car was as described and they prep it and put enough gas to get me back home 200 miles away. The process was pretty straight forward since I did not have a trade in and I brought a check. I would do business with them again and recommend them to a friend.

Apologies for the formatting, line breaks don't seem to work in the review.-------------- Pros: Price listed online was the actual price Salespeople willing to follow up on your requests for info No hassles taking the vehicle to a mechanic, encouraged to do so ---------- Cons: No adjustments in price on the vehicle Low value on trade (individual vehicle, could be different for others) ----------- I sent a request to Impex Auto sales requesting information about a specific vehicle, they were prompt in getting back with me, and checked in several times to let me know it was still on the lot (I had to drive a fair distance to look at it). While this could have come across as pushy Robert did a good job of making sure I had the info I needed before I left my home. ------------ The vehicle itself was as described. After taking it to a third party mechanic I was told that it was in generally good condition, but would need the front brakes changed soon and the spare/jack was missing. For anyone looking at a purchase I would recommend getting a mechanic to check your vehicle out, as Impex doesn't currently have a servicing dept. (this is a best practice regardless of the dealership) ------------ Impex agreed to replace the missing tire and carjack, but wouldn't adjust the price for the brakes, since it had passed the state inspection recently. Their offer for my trade was fairly low. The vehicle had issues but I had been offered substantially more by a carmax in my area within the last month. If you have any questions about the value of your trade I would recommend finding an alternate way to sell it (based on my experience) ------------ I completed the purchase ( I had my own financing so can't comment on their process) and got ready to go but the jack hadn't been placed in the vehicle. Once I called their attention to it this was resolved, but if I hadn't checked I would have driven off without it. ------------- Overall I'm happy with my experience. I got a decent price on the vehicle I went to the dealership to buy. While the experience wasn't perfect (anticipated repairs not adjusted on the price, low trade value, jack not placed in vehicle) I was pleased by the responsiveness of the staff to my requests, a pleasant overall experience, and would recommend this dealership to anyone who has done their due diligence on their purchase.

Purchased a used Toyota Highlander recently from Impex. My Sales Rep, Mitch was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and was not aggressive & pushy. He made promises to take care of my requests for minor repairs (dings scratches) and delivered on time. Enjoyable buying experience for sure. Kat, finance manager was also nice and easy to work with. Fastest, most quality car purchase I've made in a long time. Highly recommend Impex! Gary S. Wade

I purchased my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage from impex on the 8th of February 2016. They gave me the car fax report and car history without me even asking. Love my car I will go back to them for my next car. I am happy I decided to drive the 100 miles to impex worth the drive.They didn't try to push me into a more expensive car just sold me what I wanted and at a fair price.

I originally made an appointment to test drive a car on a Sunday when they are normally closed, and when I got there the car was in the service department and no one had thought to call and let me know. When I went back and test drove a few cars, I was prepared to buy and when I asked to negotiate the price the salesman was so rude and unwilling to negotiate that I left.

Easy and quick at first....

So I bought my Honda from here three years ago on my birthday. The process was quick and easy initially. This was my first time purchasing a car. My father noticed that the car had an alignment issue. So I take it to get aligned a month later. The Honda dealership tells me something was wrong with the frame because the wheel was not centered. He said it had to have been in an accident in order to have that type of damage. I go back to the dealership to get the car fixed. I told them about everything and they said there was nothing they could do because I had had the car for a month and they said that I could have caused that damage. But I had proof that I did not cause that damage because I happened to take a picture of the car the day I bought it. It was my birthday gift to myself. Even with that they were no help. The next day I bring my father up there and all the salesmen change their tune. They were completely helpful they fixed the damage so that the car was centered. Completely and utterly sexist behavior. Even now my car will not align no matter how many times I take it to get aligned. The car is great other than that issue. I love my car but the issues with the frame do wear and tear on my tires.
