I just moved to Eugene, and had to schedule my Honda Accord for its mileage maintenance check (October 13). As this was my first experience utilizing Kendall, I was nervous. However, your curbside service, by James Thomas, was top-drawer and impressive. What made it so nice, is, he did not know this was my first exposure to Kendall. He treated me with excellent customer service, explaining and attending to the service needs of my vehicle. While waiting in the lounge, he came back to find me, and explained what was going on, and also, what needed to be repaired. What pleased me most, is the associate (James) that "checked my vehicle in", also, "checked my vehicle out" when the service was complete. This is key to me, as he did not need to review my file, and left me feeling confident that everything was handled appropriately. Your scheduling staff are also very efficient and friendly. I definitely had a good experience with Kendall. When I need a new car, which will be soon, I will shop here first. Thank you, Satisfied Honda Customer, Darlene Stiles.

As a traveler passing thru... if the car isn't working, you are screwed! Luckily, after hearing sounds that created fears that the repairs would hang us up overnight and costly, we were able to find Kendall Honda on our smart phone. We explained to Destini Una we were out of state and did not want to be stranded and needed to have our vehicle working. She was able to have Bryce from the service dept. go with us on a test drive. After it was determined a big "hex-key" was imbeded in our tire, thus causing the noise, we were informed that they fix flat tires free of charge! Wow! James Thomas also came out to comfort us and we were soon on the road again shortly. We wish to thank all at Kendall for really coming thru when we needed it. You guys were awesome! Thanks! Much appreciated~

My Honda CR-V was functioning fine, but was called back in for an Air Bag recall. The drivers side air bag was replaced and they did a good quick job. When I got it home, I noticed the Horn does not honk when I lock the car with the smart ignition key. Thinking maybe the battery in the key was weak or something, I tried my wifes key, same thing. The horn no long beeps, telling you that the car is locked. I called service department and a rep named Kenny told me I could bring it in, and if they had disturbed something during the air bag replacement, then they would repair the problem. But if they had not disturbed it or caused the problem, then I would be charged a $110 diagnostic fee. No the car still locks properly, but without the horn beat, you have to check it every time. Pain in the rear. I dont want to get into a pizzing contest over whose fault it is. The horn beeped when I locked the car when I took it in. They replaced the drivers airbag. I assume that was the one in the steerinf wheel where the horn button is located. After the repair the horn no longer beeps. I should have argued with them more, but I am tired of this stuff.

I rated my experience at Kendall Honda excellent because of the exceptional service that Mindy provided me while the service department worked on my car. She treated me respectfully, kept me informed, and made me feel she truly was working on my behalf to have a safe running car. The problem with the car was a faulty fuel injector that was confirmed after a week of diagnosis. I appreciate the dealership/management integrity of honoring the warranty that I had that covered the replacement. Thank you all very much!

We have been going to Kendall for years, I've finally reached my limit and we are NEVER going back. The last few visits have been a joke. A few examples of our experiences: I tried to drop off my car around 7 pm the night before an early appointment and there was no drop off envelopes. The sales staff ignored me even when I asked for help. I had to leave my keys with a hand written note. When I spoke to a service person the next day they didn't care. We've had some very pushy and rude service help. My husband went to pick up my car and the service person told him/threatened him saying he couldn't pick up the car unless we paid to have the brakes replaced there.... Somehow he left without having the breaks replaced there. I am still extremely upset about this! I had just had my brakes checked at a different place and they said my brakes were fine. So I doubled checked and had not one but two places check the brakes and they were fine. They are just starting to come to the end of their life but both places stated that they didn't need to be changed right away. Now my trust is completely gone from this Honda location. I would never recommend them to anyone. Our next car will not be a Honda because I don't want to deal with them or continue to drive out of town to another Honda dealership.

Service department is unreliable to the point of negligence

My 1992 Civic has a tire size that has become uncommon, so I purchased the current new set from Kendall Honda last year. I took it in for free rotation last month and Kendall provided me with a list of recommended service: front brakes, drive belts, valve cover gasket and a suspension bushing. When I drove the car away it pulled left. I took it to another mechanic who, while replacing the front brake pads, noticed that the left ball joint was obviously broken. Kendall missed this when they installed new tires and again when they rotated them. I then took the car to an alignment shop that replaced the broken ball joint and aligned the wheels. The car still pulled left. I returned to the alignment shop and they switched the front tires. Then the car pulled right. I again returned to the alignment shop and they rotated the tires front-rear, and now the car drives straight, so obviously I have a bad tire. I purchased these tires from Kendall and they now have gone 5,000 miles, so they are just broken in. I took the car back to Kendall and the service department refused to do anything about the bad tire, saying that if it was still a problem after the next rotation I might get some prorated discount on a new tire. They returned the car to me in an unsafe condition with no warning and now refuse to replace a bad tire that they sold me. I will not use Kendall Honda service again.

Thank you to Sharon Yost, sales/leasing consultant at Kendall Honda, for making our experience buying a new car so easy. We explained what we wanted, and walked out three hours later with exactly that. Sharon was friendly, easy going, and patient, and always gave us plenty of time and space to make decisions. From the first phone call to the last finishing touches programing the bluetooth settings on our phones, Sharon was a caring professional. I highly recommend you ask to work with Sharon!

Jayson greeted us in a friendly and professional manner. Worked with us to achieve our needs and explained the features of the used vehicle we chose. In order to arrive at a price we could afford we also worked with Jerimiah, the sales manager. He also was friendly and professional. The whole of this experience was made great for us because of these two gentlemen. Both are outstanding professionals and we commend them!

My Honda Element was broken into. I took it to Kendall Honda for the insurance repair, which included replacing the driver side front window. Everything was fine ... for about 8 months, then the window fell out inside the door. Kendall disclaimed responsibility, but when I took it to another shop, it turned out that they had glued the the window into the old tracks, instead of replacing the whole unit as is recommended -- because post-factory glue jobs don't last. AND it turned out that they had used a piece of glass that was a different tint than all the other windows. I'm sure this cheapo and sloppy work got them a bonus from the insurance company, but for me it was a loss -- I had to pay someone else to replace it since they would not stand behind their glue job. I will never go back there again.
