We are from Florida, experienced check engine light. The mechanic who diagnosed the problem found two hoses had been switched inadvertently. The repair work was done in short order with minimal expense and time. The service reps also were courteous and informative. We're very glad we placed our trust in these people.

Having moved to the NC mountains, I was in need of a 4WD truck. Robert E. helped me. It took me far longer to get through the purchase process, but only because I wasn't sure what I wanted. My Honda Pilot lease was expiring in August 2016, so I went to Modern Toyota to look at a 4Runner to lease. I met Robert Ellsworth, Sales Associate, who showed me a number of vehicles and gave me some lease and purchase options. He was outstanding: very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and no pressure tactics. I reviewed the options and returned to the dealership two days later to discuss specifics. I ended up leasing a 2016 4Runner Limited during that visit. The entire process was pleasant and timely. Robert introduced me to Lori who set up many of the new technology features on the vehicle and gave me a detailed overview of all the systems features and functions. Both Robert and Lori were wonderful. The entire process was painless and pleasant. The new dealership facility was also nice.

I had to take my 2006 Toyota 4runner in for service as the four wheel drive system was not working correctly. I scheduled an appointment to bring it in for a diagnosis with Brian Sigmon. After checking the vehicle out they discovered the problem was a faulty actuator. I was thinking this is something that would have to be ordered and probably take weeks to get in and then fixed especially in the dead of winter. But to my pleasant surprise Brian said they had the part in stock and that the service tech Chris could go and fix it that same day! Even though they did run into a couple of unforeseen snags the team work non-stop until the four wheel drive system was completely repaired and working flawlessly. Brian and Chris stayed in constant contact with me during the whole process which ended up taking a couple of extra days. I was provided a rental car so it wasn't a big deal that it took a little longer because their main concern was making sure everything was working correctly. After all it is a 10 year old vehicle so I was not surprised that they run into a couple of extra problems. The most important thing to me is the amount of time and care the whole team put into the vehicle and myself. In the end I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and courtesy that I was treated with by Brian and Chris along with the rest of the service department team. Modern Toyota of Boone should be very proud of the entire staff they have in the service department and I would highly recommend anyone to stop by and see them for all of there service needs!
