I worked with Mike Maher on purchasing a VW Tiguan and the best part apart it was he was honest, straightforward, and to the point. From the time of my test drive I had everything wrapped up within the next 24hrs. We communicated over phone, email, and in-person and he was responsive each time. I don't enjoy the "games" you have to play at other dealerships in respect for everyone's time to haggle at a price. He gave me a fair price on the car I was purchasing and good price on my trade-in. I don't think I could have been happier. If I was to purchase another vehicle any time soon I would definitely look up Mike again and I highly recommend working with him if you are looking for this type of experience.

I have now purchased two new cars from Northtowne Mazda, both through the same salesperson (Gene Barnett), and both times were the smoothest car purchasing experiences I could ask for. Price negotiation, trade-in valuation, dealer-installed option acquisition and installation, handling some one-off requests, completing paperwork, and in-person delivery were all done with utmost respect for my and my wife's time and with the expectation that we were fairly informed consumers. Wife and I purchased a CX-5 for her most recently, handled almost all of the transaction via email and remotely before arriving to pick it up. No games, no hassle, no pressure, just a very fair deal, a great buying experience, and very little time spent at the dealership waiting (probably my biggest pet peeve about buying a car). Why more dealerships and salespeople don't adopt this approach is beyond me, but this is how it should be done! Nothing but highest praise for Gene and the rest of the folks at Northtowne Mazda. I'm sure we'll buy more Mazdas in the future, and I can't imagine buying from anyone else as long as they continue to provide the same excellent level of service and respect for their customers.
