Great Salesman and the referral to shop there from our neighbor led us to the ownership of this amazingly fun little car. The car was price very reasonably but the best part was the very affordable price on the extra coverage and Incredibly helpful sales staff for a very easy buying experience.

I was in the market looking for a jeep wrangler unlimited. I found a blue one that Van Campen had on their lot. Williamsport is 3 hours from me and 1 hour from our cabin in Lock Haven. Since I was very interested in the jeep I emailed them and the manager (Josh VanCampen) emailed me back and said he had a lot of jeeps and wanted to sell a few by the end of the year. He told me he would take the price down to $34,000 from the price of $35.470. I printed out the email and headed to my cabin. I drove down on a Friday night to look at the jeep. After walking around the lot Joe Gansel (salesman) came out to ask me what I was interested in..I have been to at least 10 dealerships and this guy was probably the worst saleman I have ever met. Everytime we walked in and out of the dealership he would go before me instead of even holding the door open.for me ..talk about rude!! They offered me only $15,400 I think for my car while other dealerships offered me anywhere from $16,800 to $17,500. I told them they weren't even close to what I wanted. I asked them how much would they come down in the price of the jeep and they said NOTHING. Are you kidding me?? So I showed them the email which the manager sent me saying he would sell me the jeep for $34,000. Joe the salesman took it to the manager and showed him and the managers reply was...well if I am going to sell the jeep for $34,000 (jeep cost was $35,700) then I will only give you $14,000 for my car...Of course my reply was...are you kidding me?? And then he told me it was all a numbers game. I gathered my things and walked out..Plus while we were sitting there the lights went off for about 3 minutes..that should have been a sign then because the dealership building looks like it is 100 years old. Needless to say I will NEVER go to Van Campen again and have told people about my horrible experience. It frustrates me that I wasted my time and gas to even visit this dealership...what a bunch of losers. I finally did buy a nice jeep wrangler unlimited which had more options than the one I was looking at there and they took $1,000 off the price and gave me $17,300 for my car. It does pay to shop around. Van Campen..you need to educate your salespeople on etiquette! If I could give them a rating of 0"s I would. SMH
