After nearly 20 yrs of driving minivans my wife and I were ready for a change! We decided to search for a used mid size SUV. While browsing the Internet a nice looking used Traverse popped up at Wantz Chevrolet in nearby Taneytown. We decided to slip over that evening and look into it further. We were met by Marvin Glass. He couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. After some consideration and brief light hearted negotiation we decided to purchase the Traverse. Due to some issues with outside financing we needed to wait a couple of weeks before we picked up the car and Wantz was very patient and understanding . Ultimately we picked up our Traverse and we absolutely love it! After a few days a couple of minor issues arose with the vehicle. Even though these issues were minor and outside of the normal used car warranty, Wantz was quick to take care of them immediately and at no charge. The service was fast and friendly. I am very pleased with my experience with Wantz so far!
My saleswoman, Christine Belge, was/is awesome, She was helpful and understanding and I would come back to her in a heartbeat!!! The staff as a whole was also very friendly and "family-like." Consider them in your next car buying experience!

I am a Fleet Manager and always looking for used and new vehicles for my fleet customers. I use all types of websites and options to locate vehicles; recently I needed a Cargo Van and found one through Cars.com at Wantz Chevrolet. From the start it was a pleasure to deal with Jeff Wantz on the purchase of the used vehicle he had in used car inventory. Great communication, Jeff told me immediately the vehicle was available and made an appointment to look at the vehicle. I looked at the vehicle and the condition and price were right. Everything was handled professionally and paperwork done quickly. Great sales process, I would buy from Wantz again with confidence.
The salesperson knew very little about the vehicle I was purchasing. After purchasing the vehicle which was advertised for sale and sold with an outstanding recall item (issued in 2013 and the dealership was well aware of this) the next day the dealership called and demanded that I bring the vehicle back for the recall item to be completed. Before I left the dealership on Monday I told my salesperson that I would resolve the problem at my convenience because they were not able to do it at their facility. The next day I received a phone call from the dealership demanding I bring my newly purchased vehicle back to their shop for the repairs which they could not do there. When I told the salesperson I would not be returning the vehicle in a two hour time frame that was demanded, she became agitated.

I had an unusual experience at this particular dealer. Ive been shopping the internet looking for something nice, affordable and convenient. When I called I was connect with a gentleman named Kevin. He listened, responded to my questions and never once tried to push my in to something I did not want. Because of the current balance on my car, I will not do anything until perhaps April or maybe May but I can assure you that I will be going to Wantz Chevrolet! Mr. Kevin expressed great interst in my vehicle needs and even went in to all the available departments any car buyer will need! The click and shop feature he walk me through makes this so easy.
