I leased a new Outback last Wednesday. I dealt with Scott Sprecher, one of the sales staff. This is a recommendation to work with Scott on your new Subaru purchase or lease. My wife and I found him to be attentive but not "pushy"; very courteous, and fully knowledgeable about the product. The manager took time to introduce himself to us and thank us for our business, and the finance manager was helpful, timely and personable. In short, our entire experience with White Bear Subaru was one that we recommend, and will not hesitate to repeat. I have purchased many new vehicles over the past 50 years, from many dealerships, and this experience was the best.
Trepidation shadowed me into the dealership as I began my journey to buy a new car knowing my demographics could mean an unpleasant experience. Just so happened that Sam was working and was professional and showed me what I was looking for without being pushy or presumptive. I went to other dealers but came back to finish the sale with Sam because he demonstrated his experience, professionalism, friendliness and knowledge to make this a good, fair and successful purchase for me. We looked at 6 dealerships and car makes, and kept coming back here- Sam Basho was patient, warm, informative, authentic, and never pushy, just what we needed in a car dealer. We asked about the company , he said he'd been working for subaru for over 25 years and they company treated him well, it was a good company to work for, and that meant a lot to us. We drove many cars, no problem. Chi Vang, another sales person - was also helpful and informative while Sam was off having our old prius evaluated. We felt we were dealt with fairly from beginning to end, and as a female, I never felt talked down to or dismissed. the financial guy was also efficient, helpful, flexible and kind.And they sent us cookies the next day. The forester is wonderful, We couldn't be more pleased with our choice.
After a ton of research, we recently purchased a Subaru Crosstrek from White Bear Acura Subaru. We had two salespeople (since we went there multiple times): "Moe" Hawili and Sam Basho. They were both incredibly helpful, and not at all "salesy." I would definitely recommend them (and already have).

The service tech Luke Lien was very friendly and helpful when I came in for my first oil change. He asked me how I liked my new car, if I had any issues, and informed there was a software recall. The oil change and software update took less time to do than expected. The service all around was exceptional, which is one of the reasons why I purchased a Subaru !!!
