This dealership was highly recommended to me by many, including my mechanic, my friends, and even my loan officer! I had picked out a slightly used car and called to have them deliver it to my mechanic for a pre-ownership check. They made the arrangements to drop it off and never showed up! When I called the mechanic hours after it was to be done, they told me it never came. I then called Dayton, the salesman at Southeast Cars, to ask what was happening, only to be informed that someone had purchased it last night. This is all despite the fact that Steve, the manager, had agreed to call me to let me know if anyone else was about to buy the vehicle.When I asked Dayton why I wasn't told, he informed me that neither he nor Steve were there last evening when it sold! I am very disappointed and chained about this situation. Thus, while SE cars is highly recommended by all, there apparently is a downside to the sales personnel not working on commission (not that this is preferable). Apparently, the sales staff and the manager are not motivated in the same way as ordinary dealerships. There is an integrity issue here, nonetheless.
