MARATHON IS RECALLING CERTAIN SEAT COVERS, BRAND SUPERHIDES WITH PART NUMBERS 593, 594, 578, 960, 228, 228-09, 267-08, 333, 625, AND 630, SOLD FOR USE AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE SEAT COVERS ARE MADE OF HEAVIER THREAD AND ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SEATS CONTAINING SIDE AIRBAGS. THE HEAVIER SEAT COVER COULD INTERFERE WITH FULL DEPLOYMENT OF THE AIRBAG IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.
I have been using cars.com as I looked and researched for a specific used vehicle. One search led me to Hines Park Lincoln where I then contacted them via cars.com -email-and they immediately replied by phone to see if they could answer any questions I had concerning that vehicle. The friendly representative presented the dealership hours and a contact if I decided to stop in. No pressures at all, just helpful info. What more could you ask for right! About a week later they contacted me again (Amanda) just to see where I was in my search and if they could offer any more assistance. Unfortunately the vehicle sold before I could visit, but I appreciated the non-pressure contacts they made and the friendly way in communicating their assistance if needed.
