Recalls & Defects

VIN 2G4GS5EV9D9186073 may have been recalled. Check full report for more information

A rear toe link fracture may reduce the driver's ability to control the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2012-2013 Buick Regal, 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, and 2010-2013 Buick Lacrosse vehicles sold or ever registered in Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin. These vehicles may have rear toe links that received excessive electrocoating (e-coat) corrosion protection, which could cause the e-coat to become brittle and break away when contacted by road debris. Over time, the e-coat may chip away, exposing the metal toe link and making it more susceptible to corrosion. Corrosion may eventually cause the toe link to thin and ultimately to fracture.

Customer Service: 3 Buying Process: 1 Overall Facilities: 2

I came in as a first-time car buyer to look at a very specific vehicle. The salesman was decently friendly and wasn't too pushy, but he got very defensive when I mentioned the vehicle pulled to the right and my mechanic friend pointed out that every tire was a different brand (including one that was significantly wider than the rest), along with an impact mark on one of the rims. As high as the price on the vehicle was for the condition it was in, we got him to agree that if I purchased the vehicle, he would get the most mismatched tire replaced and the alignment fixed. When we brought up the idea of financing, this previously very chatty salesman suddenly got very quiet and disinterested and wouldn't give us a straight answer on anything. I ended up taking my business elsewhere and got a better deal on a similar vehicle in better condition.

Performance Rating: 5

Purchased our first 2013 Regal Turbo Premium I in August of 2015. Black on black was beautiful inside and out. My son got in a wreck, totaled the car at 67.000 miles, but not a scratch on him. Side curtain airbags worked perfectly. We went out and bought another 2013 Turbo Premium I in Graphite Blue Metallic with a light cocoa dune interior. My wife and I love this car (both of them). I travel for work and have opportunity to drive many other vehicles as rentals (Altima, Challenger, Mustang, Optima, Camry, Accord, and others) but this is still my favorite. Great performance, comfort, and style. In the first Regal I achieved as high as 36 mpg over a 50 mile stretch (by onbrd comp). Average highway fuel economy at 70 mph is about 29 mpg. Around town is about 19 mpg, and mixed driving is about 23 or 24. Even after owning for well over a year the performance is exhilarating.
