Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Focus Electric vehicles and 2013 C-Max vehicles equipped with the Intelligent Access Push Button Start System. In the affected vehicles, there is no audible chime when the vehicle is operational and the driver's door is opened. Thus, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 114, "Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention."

I went to Mira because I needed a car and didn't have the best of credit. I ended up dealing with Ben and I found the car that I wanted, which was a 2007 Cadillac SRX. When I went into the office, I was the only one there and I filled out the application. Ben then had other customers and he seemed to forget that I was there. I left a note on the application asking him to call me back when he had a free moment, which he never did. I ended up calling him and he got some additional information from me and said he would call me back in 30 minutes. Three hours passed and he didn't call me back. I finally called and he told me that he was forwarding my information to the bank. The bank called me and got some additional information and said that I was good to go and that Mira would be calling me back shortly. Again, hours passed and no one called me back. Finally, I called them back again and the guy on the other end said Ben was busy and would call me back. I told the voice on the other end that if Ben did not call me back then he could consider me a lost customer. Not to my surprise, no one returned my phone call. Considering that they are in the business of making money, they did not seem to want to do business with me or take my money. Their customer service skills are horrendous and I wish I had never wasted the 4 days trying to deal with them. Awful experience.
