Recalls & Defects

VIN JM1GJ1V61E1124763 may have been recalled. Check full report for more information

Once the PCM assumes that the charging system has failed, the vehicle will stop charging and could result in poor acceleration, loss of steering assist and windshield wiper operation, and a possible engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Mazda North America Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain model year 2014 Mazda3 vehicles manufactured June 12, 2013, through December 18, 2013, and model year 2014-2015 Mazda6 vehicles manufactured May 20, 2013, through December 4, 2013, and both equipped with a 2.5L engine and a regenerative engine braking system. When driving the affected vehicles in heavy rain or in deep puddles, the alternator belt may slip causing the Power Control module (PCM) to incorrectly assume failure of the charging system.

Customer Service: 5 Quality Of Work: 5 Friendliness: 5 Pricing: 5 Overall Experience: 5

This dealership had the best customer service I've had from anywhere! I began my experience by walking through the lot, looking through the cars, without an associate to assist me. Previous purchases at other dealerships had flagged this as unusual to me. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity it gave me! I was able to browse, without feeling pressured, to see what i was interested in before wasting time. In fact, if it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have found the car that I loved the most.Finding a car i was interested in, I went inside to look around and find an associate. Once again, I wasn't engaged immediately upon entering which ended up being something that I enjoyed. It made me feel completely in control and that I had no pressure whatsoever to make a purchase. Loved it! Only a short time after entering did an associate, Michael S. Smith, engage me. He was great! He immediately went outside with me and aided me wherever needed. Went above an beyond to ensure all my questions were answered and I got the full experience with the car. He never once made me feel pressured (to me that is very important!). What I found really great was how he spoke of the vehicle; like a real person, pros/cons, his experience with his (awesome!), and the changes that have made the company better. I honestly believe he is the reason I bought this vehicle.I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone and I will definitely recommend Michael to all those looking to purchase. They bend over backwards without the desperate vibes you get from many other dealers.
