If the OCS does not detect an adult occupant in the passenger seat, the passenger air bag would be deactivated. Failure of the passenger airbag to deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of injury to the passenger.

In my experience carmax is not where i will ever go to get another car ever in my life! The costomer service was great but the car my husband and i bought Ended up being in the carmax repair shop a day after their money back gaurantee.. So thereforw we ended up having to keep the car.. we got it fixed. Ended up bringing the car back to the shop for the same reason We got it fixed yet again and we were told that there would be no further problems But several repairs later we are now sitting in a parking lot Waiting on a tow truck to tow our car to "Carmax"" .
