Significant water drainage into the passenger compartment may adversely affect air bag deployment in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of occupant injury.

Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (Volvo) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Volvo XC90 and S90 vehicles manufactured April 15, 2015 through September 19, 2016. This summer I was in route to deliver some things to a friend in Massachusetts when the spring in my car broke. I called two dealerships in this area to find out how much it would cost to replace the spring. When I first called Merrimack St., Volvo, I told the service man that I was shopping for the best price. He asked me how much Nashua said it would cost and I told him they said $650. He then told me it would cost me $600 at Merrimack St., Volvo. When I asked him if that was a firm price, he said yes. Just to be sure I asked him if that was the final price including everything, he said yes. When it came time to pick up my car he charged me $750 and then when I reminded him that he had told me it would cost $600 he started berating me and yelling at me, scolding me for having so much xxxx in the back of my car and it took them a long time to pull it out. I had asked him to do an alignment, which I knew would cost extra but he never did the alignment, saying he didnt have time because there was too much xxxx in the back of my car. He had my car for four days. Granted I had a few pieces of furniture and two boxes which took me less than one minute to pull out of my car. All of it except for a childs desk fit into the backseat. I reminded him that he had told me $600 was a firm price. He said he never told me it was a firm price, which was a boldfaced lie. He screwed up the charges on my credit card and had to redo it and when I finally got my car after four full days they hadnt even bothered to wash it.When I left the shop and pulled onto the highway, my car started shaking like it never had before. I called the service center and that very mean man answered the phone. I told him my car was shaking like crazy and he started swearing at me, berated me some more and then hung up the phone on me. I am certain that if I were a man, he would have treated me differently. I wound up bringing my car to the Nashua Volvo where they did an alignment as well as clean the car. I called the general manager of Merrimack St., Volvo dealership to complain about the man in the service center and he said, Ill talk to him and Im sorry youll never be back here again. He didnt offer to refund any of the $150, which the service man charged for basically having to move a few things out of the back of my car. I would never recommend Merrimack St., Volvo to anyone and would highly recommend, whether its for the purchase of a car or for service, the Lovering Volvo in Nashua.

60K for a 4 cylinder underpowered engine

I test drove the X90. I own a 2008 XC90 v8. The v8 Yamaha engine in the 2008 Volvo XC90 is a GREAT engine. Smooth, quiet and quick. This was the PERFECT engine for the heavy XC90. Volvo decided to make a one size fits all 4 CYL engine and it's really a poor choice for the XC90. It's overworked and underpowered. It's a cheap work around. Take a look under the large plastic cover hiding the little engine that couldn't...How can I pay a 60K price tag for this SUV? Volvo was once upon a time a car company that had a quality car from the inside out and today they make a car that has a sharp stylish look but cheaply built compared to the older models....Other options in same price range. the BMW X5,,,,,,Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne, and VW Toureg. These SUV's have decent performance...Think about test driving a one year old BMW X5 v8 with low miles....
