Truly disappointed in Russ Darrow. I test drove a vehicle at the Russ Darrow Mazda dealership in Madison on 11/10/16. I went home and reviewed the car information online. The vehicle is Nissan certified according to their website and the Carfax showed that it had been in a sideswipe with minimal damage. I called my salesperson the next day to ask about the Carfax and he said per the report it was less than $1000 worth of damage and would have been fixed. I went back on Friday, 11/11/16 to purchase the vehicle. When I arrived it was already dark outside. Saturday morning, I called as soon as I saw the dent. The salesperson said he hadn't seen it either and would talk to someone and get back to me. Nothing. Sent him an email. Nothing. Called the dealership on Tuesday, talked to one of the managers and he said they would fix it and he would have my salesperson call me back on Wednesday. Nothing. Got in the vehicle today and the entire navigation system, radio, etc would not turn on. Called the dealership about the dent again. The GM called me back, was completely rude and said that they wouldn't fix the dent. He said it was turned in that way, they chose not to fix it, that I should have seen it and wasn't their problem. I asked if there was a return policy as the Nav System went out today. He said that should be covered under the manufacturer warranty and I should take it to a Nissan dealership to have it fixed and that they won't take the car back as they don't have return policy. Owned the vehicle 6 days and it has a dent and a non-working navigation system. Not what I was expecting from a supposedly Nissan certified vehicle for 20k.I bought my last vehicle at a Russ Darrow in Milwaukee and had no issues which is why I decided to buy from Russ Darrow again. Will no longer be a customer in the future and will certainly share my experience.
