Customer Service: 5 Quality Of Repair: 5 Overall Facilities: 5

On our way home from a month long road trip pulling a 5th wheel, my Ford 250 blew the #6 spark plug. In the old days, to change out a spark plug was a very simple task. Not so with the modern car or truck these days.I brought my truck to the service department at 8:00 AM Thursda (I did not have an appointment) with hopes of having it repaired that day, as it was imperative I get back on the road Friday. I explained the symptons to John and he agreed that it was most likely a blown spark plug. He also informed me the service department was booked solid and probable couldn't finish the repair until the next day as it was not a simple fix because when the plug blew, it stripped the threads from the motor's head. This would require obtaining a special spark plug replacement kit, re-tapping the spark plug hole, inserting a helicoil, replacing the injector coil and pigtail and a few other details(an extensive process).John said he would do his best to fit the repair in, but couldn't promise it could be finished that day. As it turned out, the repair was completed my 3:00 PM that day and I was able to leave early Friday morning to continue on home. I felt it was a team effort to complete the job, with John being the leader. The office personell were very polite and supportive as was the other gentleman in the service department. I would also like to give special kudos to the mechanic for doing an outstanding job.As noted above, we left the next morning on our trip back home which was about 1200 miles. The trip was completely uneventful and stress free thanks to a "Job well done by the team"Thank you all very much - Ron & Vickie Nock
