Carmax sold a 2007 escalade to us that looked brand new on the outside and when I looked under the hood and undercarriage I found nothing but salt water rust. After further investigation we found out the truck had been sitting in 2' of water during hurricane sandy. We returned the truck to Carmax and after much grief and 2 weeks we finally got our money back. Of course Carmax put that truck right back up for sale with no mention of the rust in the engine compartment or undercarriage.Buyer beware the truck I am speaking of is a 2007 black Escalade with 18,721 miles. DO NOT BUY THIS TRUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
