I'm not a fan of reviews with too many exclamation points or flattery. It feels phony, and when you need a good auto dealership you need honest professionals. Honestly though, I can't say enough good things about this place. It was so unlike any other car buying experience I've ever had, it really threw me and my girlfriend for a loop. We saw South Commercial had a hybrid Civic for sale and it was right at Blue Book, which never happens. So we drove down to check it out. Normally these guys sell big trucks like F-150's but they had this one Hybrid that looked in great shape. There was no haggling at all - the price was a special online sale price and it was locked in, so right away that took a big weight off our shoulders. We test-drove it and the air conditioner was making some loud noises. Other than that the car ran great. We told the owner about it and he looked up common problems with Civic Hybrids. Turns out these cars can get paper from the glove compartment stuck in the fan. His mechanics fixed it right then and there and we bought the car straight out. They told us they had done a 100+ pt. inspection on the car and went through the car inspection with us to show us what they looked for. They gave us brand new tires and said that as customers of theirs, we could come back and use their garage (which is pretty much exclusive to customers), and he would help us out by giving us the parts for just over wholesale price, as well as a very nice hourly mechanic wage. He then LITERALLY showed us the receipt he had from when he bought it at auction - he was only making a couple hundred dollars off this deal. Turns out he had bought the car for a friend who didn't come through on the deal, so we were the ones who took home the deal. He was also patient working with us on the car payment. Our previous vehicle had been totaled in an accident and we were waiting on the check from the negligent party's insurance. South Commercial accepted our check and waited almost a week before our check finally came in and we were able to pay them. Great, friendly, honest service and nice guys. No sales pressure and they take their car inspection and cars seriously. I highly recommend them to anybody in the Eugene-Salem-Portland area. It's worth the hour drive south of PDX! -Max
