THERES PLENTY OF OTHER ACURA DEALERSHIPS ON LONG ISLAND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! I have been to various different dealerships for different car makes before and I have to say this is by far the worst most unprofessional place I've ever been in. I went inside, conversated with some staff members and got the worst taste in my mouth I walked right out. First off let me say in the few minutes I was there a women by the name of Christine who is the "General Manager" (I don't know how she got that title) came around the corner and started yelling and screaming at her staff members cursing in front of customers, very unprofessional. There was a guy named Anthony who was the service or parts manager that seemed like he had no idea what he was doing you can tell that this is this guys first manager position and it seemed like he just got the job yesterday he wasn't even saying anything when the "General Manager" was berating staff just looked like a sad puppy dog. The guy that helped me in Parts, Tom, had no idea what he was doing I asked for a price on a simple part and he gave me a price on a completely different part that had nothing to do with what I was looking for. This was after I waited for him to get off his cellphone to look up to even acknowledge that I was standing there in front of him for the last 2 minutes. Then when I told him very nicely it's not the right part that he gave me a price on he got angry at me and started to give me an attitude. I will say that the guys in service Tim, Jason and Ken I believe were very friendly and helpful towards me when I initially walked in to ask prices on repairs. But that's not enough to have my business this place has MAJOR managerial issues that shows in their employees. Maybe only the owner (who seems like is never there by the way this place is run) can fix these issues by hiring new management. I'm shocked a dealership like this is still in business. I'm not one to write reviews on the internet but this shows how sour a taste I have after only being there a few minutes. Terrible. STAY AWAY!!! There's plenty of dealerships around that are professional, helpful and make customers feel welcomed. I will now be driving out of my way to Acura of Smithtown with my MDX to get any work done or any parts needs. By the way I went to Acura of Smithtown after leaving this place and they found the simple part I was looking for in a matter of seconds and I was in and out within 5 minutes with no headaches, no yelling, no cursing and no attitude from incompetents! I told them about my experience at Acura of Bay Shore and they laughed saying I was the 10th person this month that came to them with a bad experience from Acura of Bay Shore!! Not good!! I wish I had known this beforehand which is why I'm writing this review hopefully I can save somebody else the trouble of a wasted trip. Go to a different dealer before this one even if it's out of your way believe me it's worth it.
