We bought our first Ford (Escort) in 1985 in Germany when I was in the military and many more thereafter. We went to Conklin Ford as part of shopping around for an SUV. We met with Steven Garcia and explained why we were there: initially comparing models and brands to consider buying an SUV with no firm date. He asked about requirements and trim levels, what we were driving now, and was very helpful in showing us the many features of a new 2017 Ford Escape and Ford Edge. My wife test drove a Ford Escape Titanium and was highly impressed. We left with no pressure to buy; just his business card. After more shopping around, we returned a week later and bought a 2017 Ford Escape. I expected a long, drawn out haggling process similar to what I had experienced at a Ford dealer in Wichita that ended after three horrific hours when I walked out. Instead, Steven printed off MSRP vs his dealer invoice pricing and showed us all the rebates with different model levels. His prices matched exactly what I had researched in advance.
