On 9/17/16, I brought my vehicle in to have an oil change, tire rotation, and new wiper blades put on. After the service was complete I was told my front brake pads were wearing and I needed to have them replaced soon. Now on the morning of 10/11/16, I bought my vehicle back to this same location to have front brake pads put on and to have my car cleaned as well. I checked in around 10:15 am and took a shuttle bus to a relatives home nearby to wait. I called a couple of times just to check on the status. I received a phone call around 3:34pm and was told rear brakes were put on. Now I am baffled and I told the rep that I didn't ask for that. I strongly believe a phone call should have been made to make me aware of the changes. Nonetheless, I arrived back at Nissan at 4:39 pm after calling and speaking to the service department manager "LJ". I explained who I was and what I was waiting on, and I asked if he knew why it was taking so long to have "brake pads" put on. He apologized, but he couldn't give me an answer. He kept repeating that my car was being dried. 5:20 pm now, and my car is pulled around still wet and the inside wasn't vacuumed. This was NOT a courtesy car wash, this was a wash I paid for. I got LJ's attention and asked why wasn't the inside cleaned, he explained he thought I was in a rush so they skipped it??? He drove it back himself and around 5:30 pm is when I actually left the dealership. Terrible would be an understatement to describe my experience here. I thought it was tacky and very unprofessional to say the least. 7 hours was the total time they were in possession of my vehicle. $266 was my total. I gave the rep a $50 dollar off coupon , which he explained it would now be $199.99 and $19.99 for the wash. He first quoted me $276. Does this make sense to anyone else? I don't mind the money especially when it comes to maintaining my vehicle, but as a paying customer I don't like to be lied to.
