I am military, stationed in Hawaii, so that may be our first problem. Our vehicle, a 2011 Chevy Traverse LTZ, was taken to Cutter Chevrolet for a water pump replacement which was covered under warranty. When we dropped the vehicle off we were told 2-3 days. 9 days later with little to no communication we received our car back. At that point I said I would never take the car back there.Unfortunately a couple weeks ago we had a couple more issues that we wanted to get fixed prior to the warranty expiring. We have a check engine light that constantly comes on due to EVAP (gas cap) leak and a seat warmer that quit working. We had an appointment for a Friday morning. When we went to drop the vehicle off we were told they wouldn't even get to it until Monday or Tuesday. We said we would just bring it back then. At that point we were told if we took the vehicle that we would lose our spot in line...seriously? Anyway, we brought the vehicle back Monday, were told they would get to it that day or Tuesday. So on Wednesday we called and were told they were just getting to it. By Friday, they said the check engine light was nothing (which means I will have to have it replaced by another more competent dealership) probably 20 miles down the road after the light comes back on. So the following week, after nearly two days of waiting for a return call from the service dept regarding the seat warmer, we had to give them authorization to take the seat cover off to fix the heating element?????? this is warranty work..... Anyway we are going on three weeks, refusal to give us a loaner vehicle, supposedly waiting on parts, all warranty work, severe lack of communication, and two working parents, three kids in sports, etc..... never again, ever. Oh and we keep getting the "well this isn't the mainland" answer....seriously.

Very disappointed custome!

So my sales experience was good the sales person didn't know a lot about the truck but that was ok I knew what I wanted and had did the research and they had the color and everything. Purchased the truck and got it home and notice pitting all over in the paint. Called and they said bring it in and we will fixed that for you and give you a rental. I show up with truck they have no rentals available so they say you can bring it back another time I chose not to my choose HUGE inconvenience. So I get back still some paint defects but I decided I would live with it. So at 312 miles on the truck the AC goes out HUGE inconvenience since I have children and one is a infant so now I can drive the truck with the kids. I call and they say sure we have a opening Monday five day from now bring it in. I asked can I get a rental.. REPLY ( NO only if we keep it more then a day we have shuttle) Ok so now I have to take a shuttle back to Marine Corp Bas Hawaii and then the next day get a shuttle to come back and find out to get a rental. HUGE HUGE INCONVENIENCE!!! It is funny how they will give you lunch and go out of there way to sale a 50000 dollar truck but as soon as there is problems they turn there backs. I will never buy another vehicle from them and I will rest assure tell all my Marines to stay away from them that they don't back up there products. I was told to by Toyota by numerous people and I should have listened. So hopefully when I get back to the states Chevrolet there will hold up there end and do the right thing.

I would like my money you owe me Cutter Chevrolet.

I just need answers and my money of $9,500 dollars for the 2011 Ford Focus that Cutter Chevrolet now has in their possession without payment to me. Is this called a crocked deal? Really it is called a lack of communication between the financial department and the financial manager who cut the checks. I have never been run around so much since February 2, 2015. I am now waiting on a call back from Brad Eisen the General Manager. I have been through two financial sales managers. Three sales dealers and all I have gotten are promises. The last promise was that I would receive the check of $9,500 by FedEx no later than Tuesday, March 17th. Nothing.... Now it is Thrusday, March 19th and still no check. At this point I have contacted the Civil Court and will pursue legal action. This needs to be resolved. I have already checked into how much this will cost me, but it will cost the company more besides the court cost, lawyers and other fees the company will end up paying. Why don't we just resolve this and be done with it. Mr. Eisen if you are out there I hope you are listening to and will do the right thing to resolve this whole issue.

Worst experience ever!!! Scam and fraudulent company!!! I worked with Stanley through text and calls to get a Toyota 4 runner sent to the big island for my 65 year old disabled mother. He sent me pictures and said the condition of the 4 runner was fine with no visible damage, he said they detailed the entire car and did an oil change. He sent pictures and everything looked good in the pictures, perhaps they were filtered pics. So we paid the entire amount of the car on our debit card, no financing, trusting that what the sales associate Stanley said was in fact true about the car especially since it was coming from a dealer. He set up shipping with Young Brothers, the car was sent to the Big island and when we received it we were shocked!!!! Scratches, dents, side mirror broken off and thrown in the back, wouldn't even shift plus the interiors were filthy!!!! Cigarettes, cigarette butts thrown throughout, dirty q-tips, food, stains galore and crumbs, seriously disgusting!!! Obviously we didn't take the car and had to go through xxxx to send it back to Honolulu, Young Brothers was so shocked at the condition it was in that they took pictures in disbelief at how disgustingly filthy the car was! Cutter Chevrolet received the car back over a week ago and no communication on their end, and we are still waiting For Tony the manager to refund our money!!! If we don't hear from them soon we are getting our lawyers involved and they will have an even bigger problem on their hands if it gets this far. This is the last thing we want to do but they are sitting on thousands of our dollars and if they were so quick to lie about the condition of the car, who knows what other shady things they are doing!!!! Do not buy from them, I'm seriously sick to my stomach and my poor mother is so stressed because of this situation, pretty sad.

Well after 6 months of dealing with the issue of the car in question I was able to get a meeting with the General Manager Mr Eisen. He seemed very honest gunuine and sincere. He agreed to the following changes at the dealership1. The Corvette in question would not be resold but rather it will be auctioned off2. If you trade with them (Cutter Chevy) and the car you traded for turns out to have many problems they will scratch that trade off the books and give you the trade value of the orginal car you began with. Not giving you your old car back but you dont loose anything by getting the trade value for another car on their lot.3. Mr Eisen also told me that he would be willing to see towards the donation to a charity that Supports the Troops. I will give him the contact info to Salt Water Soldiers.4. Mr Eisen assured me that communication will flow better between their departments so no more, "I did not hear anything about your case service or issue from so and so"5. And finally I was not expecting this. Mr Eisen wanted to make things right with my orginal purchase. So he will personnaly see all the details from start to finsih and he will put his top salesman on this, and because of the bad events of my last deal I will be allowed to see the price they paid for every car on the lot! I will keep you all posted but it really looks like Cutter Chevy wants to make this right. Ok Well I Got back from Cutter Chevy. All I can say is wow their word is truly honest and good. As soon as I pulled into the dealership I was met by Mike Kakazu, he was very polite and knew of my situation, and brought me to see Brad Eisen right away. While in Mr Eisen's office I was also introduced to Daniel Mina the sales manager at Cutter Auto. First we sat down for a sec and talked about the changes in policy and the car in question. As I said earlier Cutter Chevy is true to their word. The Corvette in question was already gone and I got a fresh start with the best sales man (Mike Kakazu) and the best sales manager (Daniel Mina) I have ever delt with. Mike was the most knowledgeable and energetic sales man I have ever met. He knew more about the cars then any other sales man I have ever delt with. Mike really did his homework and could not only describe all the features of every car on the lot he could answer any question. It shows tha he truly knows his stuff and enjoys his work. Next was Daniel a first class sales manager for sure. He always had the history of every car, he knew the lot like the back of his hand knew what the best deals would be and was not pushy in the least. In fact it felt like I was hanging out with two old friends talking about our lives and a little about cars. Well I found the first car I liked a 2012 Dodge Chalenger and the price listed seemed too good to be true. It had less then 9,000 miles on it and in my opinion was a steal. So then we went to work out a deal with Mr Eisen working on all the details, and Mr Mina's knowledge. it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. They showed me exactly what they paid for the car. Were going to give me thousands more then the value ofmy car on trade, got an intrest rate of 2.9% on a used car! Also they were going to sell the car at the price they paid for it! Honestly I don't think they could have done more to fix my situation from my past experience they really gave more then they should have and were completely true to their word. Sadly I could not make the deal the car was still out of my budget but that's the way it goes. I can tell you I will never get another deal like that ever again, but I still have to stay in my budget. Mr Eisen assured me he would find a car I love on his lot that fit my budget. So I think we found one offered at the same deal as mentioned above. Talk about making it right!! I told them even if I did not buy a car I was more then happy at the level of service and they absolute honesty they showed. I will recommend Cutter Chevy to any of my sailors and I would not bat and eye. They showed what a true professional operation is and one dedicated to service above all. 6 months later they still wanted to make my previous situation right! For all the complaints on here what did you really do to give Cutter Chevy the chance to make it right? Talk to them its better then venting to a key board and you will not be disappointed

Good service, good people, good price. My Hyundai Sante Fe had a power steering problem that my regular car guy couldn't handle. When I approached the Sales area inadvertently, Brad Eisen the GM personally walked me over to the Service Department and offered to follow up with my issue. The Service Advisor, Kawika, assured me that his department could fix the problem-- and they did, at a reasonable price. I got several calls from Brad and Kawika on the progress of the repair and cost which put me at ease. My car continues to run well! I have no reservations in recommending this dealership... in fact, when it's time to trade in ol' Betsy, I will be returning to Cutter Chevy!

Cutter Chevrolet Service Department has very poor and unsatisfactory customer service, work quality, communication and friendliness. My experience there was less than disappointing and completely unacceptable. I originally brought my vehicle in the end of July 2011 for gas gage staying on E (and E light on) even though the gas was full, break lights staying on without pressing pedal, intermittently excessive cranking when turning the key to start vehicle, BOTH passenger and driver seat wiring (for heated seating & automatic moving seats forwards/up and down), broken radio, check engine light. It is now February 2012 & my car is still not completely fixed; Ive brought my vehicle in about 11 times thus far. When brought in July 2011 the vehicle is under warranty. My warranty company only covers 7days for a rental vehicle which was above & beyond exceeded. Chevy had my vehicle originally for over two weeks to diagnose these issues & get the warranty company to come out and approve everything. After taking so long to even look over my vehicle & diagnose the issues they began to take even longer to begin and fix things. Mind you within the time they had the car I was calling for updates. Jordan Hall was my service advisor; he was very rude and less than helpful regarding getting me any information pertaining to my vehicle. With that being said, I was to look at each issue starting with the gas gage. For this issue alone the car was brought in numerous times. First they were replacing some parts- which I was told they had ordered wrong parts so that took long for them to send out and then get the correct ones in. They replaced the parts however after less than 3 days of getting the car back the gage started doing the same thing again. Bought back in and they replaced the whole full system. This issue alone wasnt completely taken care of until end of August. Brake light staying on was fixed after a longer wait because of ordering a wrong part. Wiring for the seats was originally looked at the first time I brought it in. Upon getting my vehicle back the first time I was told both sides were fixed. However, they fixed the drivers side wiring ONLY! I was told they werent working because a fuse was blown. I was told they fixed a fuse on the drivers side and they thought that would fix the passengers side as well so they didnt look at the passenger side. That caused me to have to bring the vehicle in ANOTHER time for them to fix something that should have already been fixed. (HUGE inconvenience- I live 40min away). They were supposed to replace the broken radio with a new one. They ordered the part and said they would contact me when it came in, however they neglected to do so. I called continuously for about over a week and I spoke to Jordan Hall and each time told me he checked on it & the part still had not came in. Finally at about two weeks I asked Jordan for the information on the company where the part was coming from, the order number, when he put in the order, etc I found the company number, I called that company & gave them the information I said and the lady I spoke with said that the part was expressed shipped the day it was ordered at that it was at Cutter Chevrolet & they had signed for it a week ago! So I called Jordan back & told him that information & he put me on hold for over 30min to check & he finally came back and confirmed it was there & to bring my vehicle in again so they could install it. Since they installed it now some of the buttons on the stirring wheel are not working properly. For example; pressing the volume up button actually turns the volume down, pressing the volume down button changes the station, etc... I contacted Jordan again about this issue & he said there was nothing he could do. He was very rude & did not even apologize for anything!Excessive cracking has STILL not been fixed- its now February 2012. When originally vehicle was brought in July 2011 they said they couldnt diagnose what was wrong- no repairs were made. Since then the issue has gotten worse & Ive brought it in many times and for this issue they couldnt figure it out. Originally they said it was my battery, they said it was no good & needed to be changed; so I paid for a new battery & a day after the new battery was put in it was doing the same thing but this time worse- to the point the vehicle wouldnt even start without pressing the gas pedal! That was a waste of $115. I brought it back in again, and after a full day of waiting they still couldnt figure out the problem & I asked to speak to the mechanic and I was refused. They said they do not let the customer speak to the mechanic & I was told by the service manager that the reason is because & these were his exact words Our mechanics are geniuses in the rough. They are great at working on vehicles but they are horrible and talking and communication to the customer. If theyre such geniuses then why cant they figure out the issue with my vehicle the first, second, or even fifth time my car was in there. I had a long conversation with Terry Bennett (Service Manager) who was rude & gave me no information either. He told me he could either have his guys help solve my problems or I can take my vehicle & find somewhere else to fix it. My issue with this is that Ive already paid my deductable to THIS Chevrolet dealership to address my vehicles issues (which they havent not). Its just been one problem after another. Finally they told me they now think its something with my anti-theft system on my vehicle & that parts need to be replaced. They said (on Friday) they had the parts expressed shipped and would be there no later than Tuesday and they would call me as soon as it came it. That following week I received no call! I called on Friday afternoon & I was told the parts were in & that they had been since that Monday but my information was pushed to the back because they were short handed. Like I said VERY poor communication on their end! I made an appt to come in the following Monday at 8am. When I arrived I was told they had no appt scheduled for me and they wanted me to come back a different day (mind you I live about 40min away) or I would have to wait a long time. This issue still isnt fixed and Im waiting to hear back from them however, its looking like yet again Im going to have to contact them. Its been nothing but rudeness and unsatisfactory results from Cutter Chevrolet. Everything I have spoken of just has to do with my experience. As for the condition of the service department waiting room is very hazardous. It was raining this last time I was in there for 8hours and there were NUMEROUS leaks in the ceiling and in the glass windows. Water was everywhere & only did they start trying to mop it up & put a caution wet sign TWO HOURS after it was all wet in there. Not to mention the caution wet sign was in a hard to see spot. The leaking was so bad that in front of the door was FLOODED! They had to bring in something to suck the water up. There were puddles ALL over & water was splattering on the couch seating area & water was also splattering on the TV cord & an outlet that the TV was plugged into. I have photos of all the water- very dangerous! Also, during my 11 times in the service waiting area I have seen bugs (assuming cockroaches) on the walls, in the bathroom, on the floor, and by the vending machines. Everyone please be aware of the issues you will be facing if you choose to take your vehicles to Cutter Chevrolet.

Went to this dealer because we were looking for a G5 or G6 and the site said they had a few. We were met by Lance Cote who ended being the best salesman for us. He was former military and we are military so he made sure to take good care of us. We ended up spending the entire day there trying to get the exact car we wanted for the price we wanted and it was totally worth it. Lance was great and made us really feel comfortable with our purchase. And the shop has great followup service too to ensure you are happy with your purchase and that nothing has gone wrong with the vehicle. Cutter takes absolute pride in the quality of their vehicles and make sure that each car/truck is pristine for the next owner. We love our car and wouldnt change it for the world. We will definitely send people there that we know are looking for a car and if you are reading this and looking for one yourself, go see Lance Cote or Cristian Blanco today! You wont regret it!
